Bait Haknesset Anshei Sholom Mission Statement

Our Shul is an Orthodox Synagogue welcoming all Jews to daven and worship with us in a traditional setting with love and respect.

Our Congregation was established in 1972, by a group of Conservative Jews and through their dedication, the Synagogue functioned for over 50 years. On January 1, 2023 a group of committed Orthodox Yidden took over the Board and renewed our Shul’s commitment to Yiddishkeit through the Orthodox tradition. Our Mechitzah, Bimah and Amud were set in their proper places on that day, and services started al derech haKodesh.

With complete respect to the Founding Kedoshim of our Congregation, all of their dedication and Yahrzeit plaques remain and are maintained throughout our facility.

Congregation Anshei Sholom is, by definition, a place that Peace and Achdut are our core elements and guiding principles. Its where all Jews, regardless of affiliation, can join together under one roof and show our Almighty Aibeshter that His chosen nation beseeches Him to hear our prayers and davening and allow us to live in Peace and Harmony with our surrounding world until our final redemption with the arrival of Mashiach.

Expected from all of our Mispallelim is that they honor their neighbors and respect the holiness of our Sanctuaries and Batei Medrash. Its where we beseech the Almighty through our tears, we hope and pray that our tefillos reach the Heavenly Court and Kisai haKavod speedily and daven & pray for Hashem’s blessings for a life of health and happiness for all of Klal Yisrael.

Please join us for worship and davening. Our minyanim are conducted in Nusach Ashkenaz and Sephard. All Jews are welcome.
